Weight Watchers: Day #1

here. we. go.

I made it!

I also found that Diet Coke and my dill pickles are 0 points.

Similarly, if I want Chipotle or Jimmy Johns, what I order will be a little over half of daily points, so I can make sure to eat lots of 0 point veggies and fruits and power foods to still have a good day.

I think this diet wins.

I also think I will win on it. :)

Weight Watchers: The Alcohol

After a bit of researching, I found that Miller Lite is only 3 points for a bottle.

If I want to bitch it out, I can do a Bacardi Razz for 5 points.

Sounds like the playoffs in Lambeau will be alright afterall. :D

If I was being ridiculous: this would be my goal! Go Weight Watchers! Haha!

Still losing weight!

Slowly, but surely! I already dropped a daily point value b/c of losing my first 5lbs! (total of 6.1 so far!)

Go me!

Just Desserts 2

Better late than never, here is the chocolate milkshake recipe I made, and subsequently tweaked a few days ago.

The original recipe called for:

1 cup of Skim or Soy Milk (3 points)

1 oz of FatFree/Sugar Free Pudding (1 point)

1 cup of ice (0 points)

I used Silk Light Chocolate (soy milk) and the chocolate/vanilla layered sugar free Jell-O pudding. 1 oz of the pudding measured (according to my pimp new kitchen scale) to be approx the top layer of chocolate pudding in the single serving cup.

I threw all the ingredients in the blender, and let ‘er go.

Initially, it tasted a little watered down, definitely not chocolaty enough to satisfy my sweet tooth.

I ate the vanilla layer of the pudding cup (nom nom nom) and added the bottom later of chocolate to the mix.

I blended it a little further, and tasted it again. It was still not rich and creamy, but it was a bit better in taste.

I poured it into a glass and added a few tablespoons of Cool Whip Lite whipped topping. I feel this would be best consumed on a hot summers day, with the consistency being more of a chocolate icy-ish-thing, rather than a shake. The Cool Whip helped to make it a little more creamy.

It was refreshing and I’ll probably make it again. I will, however, search for a more satisfying recipe.

Total point value/recipe ended up being: 6 points

1 cup Silk Light Chocolate Soy Milk = 3

2 oz Jell-o Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding = 2

1 cup Ice = 0

4 tbsp Cool Whip Light = 1

10.1 lbs. GONE.

win.
