Once.
I act angry because I’m still hurting. Deeply. I miss when listening to the Once soundtrack didn’t spur an unwanted unexpected flood of tears. This isn’t fair. Music will never be the same for me because of you, in spite of you, in beautiful ways, ways in which I am thankful, and ways that are now proving to be hurtful. I miss you. The other you. Desperately.
I am desperately seeking distractions from reading my Personal Finance book and completing the corresponding quiz… #only10morepages #fmhw

Earthly Reminder
I want it to be summer. I want to sit in the grass and braid blades of it together. I want to lay and look at the stars, and think in the warmth with the earth underneath me, reminding me I’m still here. I wish I didn’t love the Midwest and my family so much; otherwise, I’d skip town and escape to a state where I could do this year ‘round. Scratch that, my family can remind...

"After A While" by Vernonica Shoffstall
After a while you learn
the subtle difference between
holding a hand and chaining a soul
and you learn
that love doesn’t mean leaning
and company doesn’t always mean security.
And you begin to learn
that kisses aren’t contracts
and presents aren’t promises
and you begin to accept your defeats
with your head up and your eyes ahead
with the grace of woman,
not...

Teach Us
What makes a man
Buy a drink
Then grind and sway
Like a savage subway monkey
What makes a man
Lie
Through half lidded eyes
Through licked lips
and hot thighs
What makes a man
Gnaw and pry
the marrow out of her bones
Make a home
In silk wet sheets
Carress a cheek
While shifting eyes
Over shoulders to
A wagging piece of meat
What makes a man
Fuck and run
Or fuck and saunter

Why I love my Phone: Reason #428
Accessed a Facebook message, in it was a phone number from a friend. This number had no dashes, nada, just 10 numbers in a row. I tapped it, and automatically, my phone set it up to call it, where I was easily able to add it to contacts. Mind = blown.
Enjoy the $1.09 I paid for the hard shell taco you didn’t give me, you Taco Bell bastards. *rawr*
Not So Sure

I’ve never been so sure of anything as I was of you. Now, I can’t trust my own judgment.

Does the man with the cardboard sign asking for help that stands on the Sycamore Rd intersection by Blockbuster and Office Max have a golden voice?

A Whole New You!
Since my Ally’s system update, my mobile facebook is now suggesting I download “Facebook for my Glacier”. Is my phone now having an identity crisis? Is it just really cold because of the weather? Perhaps it reinvented itself? Either way, I’ve never liked the app, and am sticking to using the browser.

Question:
I’ve gotten numerous notifications that people have started following me, but the number on my dashboard has not gone up. Not that I’m counting or anything… o.O
What’s up with that?

Why not?
In a conversation this evening, I said: Maybe it’s a weakness, or naive, to focus on people’s good, as opposed to their bad.
No one is perfect.
People spend so much time in their own minds beating themselves up over their faults and flaws.
So, why not be the person who reminds them about the good.
*except, I may have spelled ‘focus’ as ‘focuz’. Ah, typos.

The Three Bears
Times were hard in the land of bedtimes stories and fairy tales.
*
Mama Bear and Papa Bear just couldn’t handle it anymore, and had decided to get a divorce.
*
So the little bear family had to go to court to decide who would get custody of Baby Bear.
*
Now, Baby Bear was not quite a baby anymore, and the judge decided that he was old enough to make the decision for himself.
*
So he...

I just got interviewed for the Daily Chronicle!
They’re running a story about the Packers Bears game, and sent out a tweet asking Packers and Bears fans to respond if they were interested in talking about the rivaly and the game. The woman who spoke with me was really nice! I’ll let ya’ll know if any of my interview gets published in the article! Very proud to represent! Yeah-yuh! Go Packers!

I need your help to make my new blog amazing! →
To my friends, family, and ALL Tumblr friends::
I started a movie blog, and really need a group of people to message on a regular basis for opinions and descriptions of movies they have seen. These descriptions and opinions will be restricted to one sentence, no longer. It’s meant to be fast and easy! It could even be one word! I will have a movie in mind, and if you’ve seen it...

I am alive.
I had a rather treacherous journey back to DeKalb at 45 miles per hour, getting slush splashed over me as anxious semi trucks and cars passed me, putting like a granny. For a rather lengthy period of time on 88, one driver decided to snuggly sit his or her front bumper onto my rear end. He or she may or may not have been roughly a car length behind, but I felt like he or she was breathing down my...

Hey, I know you!
When I’m watching a movie and I recognize an actor or actress who I can’t quite place or name, I love going to imdb to see who they are and what else they have been in. Making the connection is rewarding. My most recent discovery? The brother Sokka in The Last Airbender is played by Jackson Rathbone who also plays Jasper Hale in the Twilight Saga.
